What a delightful place to spend a day or two. The Chiricahua National Monument lies in a rural area of southeastern Arizona, in the land of the Apache Indians not far from Cochise's stronghold. It is a fantasy land of mountain canyons and rock formations. It is a must see if you're touring this part of the state. Plan to spend at least a day there, and be sure to get out on the hiking trails that meander through the strange terrain.

The photographs in this photo tour were taken in late March of 2007. They highlight the major attraction of Chiricahua National Monument, its wonderful rock formations. Related links for Chiricahua National Monument are listed near the bottom of this page.
